I was flipping through the 2010 Farmer’s Almanac recently and landed on their astrological timetable (based on the moon’s sign) which shows the best days for certain activities during the month. Did you know these are the best day (s) in February to: 

Begin a diet          1, 5
Begin logging          9, 10, 11
Breed animals          5, 6

Make sauerkraut                 6
Castrate animals         12, 13
Cut hay    17, 18
Potty train children  1, 5
Quit smoking          1, 5
Slaughter livestock         5, 6
Start projects          15, 16

Entertain          26, 27
Destroy pests & weeds        17, 18

Wean animals or children 1, 5
Cut hair  to discourage growth 2, 3

I started wondering what we could accomplish if we had a timetable for our personal/business lives. It wouldn’t even have to be based on the moon’s sign - we could randomly choose days on the calendar as a way of goal setting.
