Mission Statement Since 1978, the Mt. Juliet / West Wilson County Chamber of Commerce has been has been committed to building a stronger business community. Through a wide variety of programs and initiatives, the Chamber works to positively impact the economic vitality and enhance the quality of life in the region, while supporting the growth and prosperity of Chamber-member businesses. The Chamber offers all members the opportunity to grow and prosper in the West Wilson County area. Every member of the Chamber benefits by networking contacts, promotion of business, or opportunties for sales.
CONNECT Chamber NetWORKS is FREE for members. Learn to network with confidence and build relationships that may drive business your way. Monthly Luncheons are held each month with over 75 business and community leaders attending each month for interesting keynote speakers and networking. Women in Business (WIB) brings together women with similar interests to Enrich, Empower and Educate women in business. Our Monthly Mixers held at local restaurants offer a great opportunity to network with fellow Chamber Members in a relaxed, casual setting. Mt. Juliet Young Professionals Council engages dedicated young professionals (age 40 and under) who have a passion for giving back to their community by connecting opportunities and needs with community resources. ADVOCATE Economic & Community Development Council initiates and assists in the recruitment and expansion of new and existing retail, commercial, industrial and residential development which will continue to broaden the tax base, create and retain jobs, and add to the quality of life in our community. Education Council is a source of information, programs, services and assistance for those whose interest is in the area of employee and business owner education. Our Lunch and Learn series covers topics such as social media, sales techniques, search engine optimization, smart phone apps, QR codes and much more! Government & Community Relations helps to insure this organization remains a voice for the business community as it relates to regulatory, legislative and other issues in order to maintain the area as a desirable place to invest capital in hopes of making a profit. Mt. Juliet Sports Council builds connections between the sports and business communities to assist the organizations to grow stronger and to enhance the success of local sporting events. Local & State Legislative Updates provide access to your elected officials and keep you informed about pending legislation. We also advocate on your behalf in matters of commerce and business. Regionalism gives you an opportunity to network and collaborate with others for the benefit of the entire Middle Tennessee Region. PROMOTE To promote business through a variety of marketing activities and to provide unique opportunities for members to promote themselves to other members and to the Mt. Juliet Community. The Chamber promotes Wilson County as a great place to live, work, shop, play, or locate a business. We provide many marketing opportunities for our members. In addition to opportunities to purchase ads in our endorsed publications, your free online directory helps potential customers find you. You may also display your membership door plaque where your customers and employees can see it. You'll be recognized as a good corporate citizen and an important part of the West Wilson County area business community. We endorse several opportunities to better increase awareness of your business. Some of these include: Ambassador Corps is comprised of local professionals who serve as the "Goodwill Arm" of the Chamber. DOWNLOAD AMBASSADOR APPLICATION Ribbon Cuttings are a great opportunity to gain recognition for your business if you are new or recently relocated. DOWNLOAD RIBBON CUTTING REQUEST The Chamber holds two fundraisers which give you an opportunity for sponsorship. Our Annual Golf Tournament, held in September at Pine Creek and A Toast to Tennessee Wine Festival, held at Nashville Shores in May. Chamber Coupons offer incentives to the public or may target Member businesses. Trolleys & Truffles is a Women in Business retail based event held in November which kicks off the holiday shopping season. Free Directory Listing A listing in our Online Membership Directory is FREE to all Chamber members. Increase awareness of your business by being where customers can find you! Ask about our Enhanced Listing which includes logo, corporate description and meta tags to help with search engine optimization for a little more than $3 a day! Community Map The Chamber sponsors a map of our community which is available to the public. This is a great opportunity to purchase an ad and gain exposure. Click here to view our map online. Community Magazine Our quality of life magazine focuses on the local community and is a great way to increase your exposure. Thousands are printed and distributed FREE of charge throughout our community and are placed in every relocation packet mailed. Mailing Labels Target new customers using mailing labels for the entire chamber membership for $25. This is a great way to market your business and promote member-to-member relationships. Relocation Packets These packets are mailed to potential new residents. Members may insert information about their business FREE of charge! What a great way to reach new residents before they move to our community! Chamber Page Advertise each week on the "Chamber Page" in the Lebanon Democrat and Mt. Juliet News Extra. Free Brochure Display / Business Card Rack Display your brochures and business cards at the Chamber office in our members-only "Preferred Business" rack. SUPPORT To support members by offering opportunities for education, business assistance and peer advice, and to leverage the talents and resources of its members to improve economic opportunities for all. Communication is key! The Chamber Chatter is emailed each Monday to inform members of upcoming events. We also have an up-to-date online calendar of events. We also keep our members connected through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Chamber Text Messaging, and our new Mobile app! Chamber 101 helps you maximize your Chamber investment by giving you ideas on how to get the most out of your membership in order to grow your business. Lunch & Learns are a great resource for business owners and managers. Workshop topics vary from social media, networking tips, marketing ideas, etc... Annual Awards Banquet honors "The Best of the Best" and allows the Chamber an opportunity to publicly recognize individuals and businesses that improve our organization and community. Tennessee Small Business Development Center meets at the Chamber office monthly for FREE assistance in starting your business, information about available loan programs, help writing a business plan, and assistance in developing a financial plan. Technology Council recognizes the importance of rapidly changing technologies and helps to provide the best tools possible to provide a greater ROI for your membership dollars.
