I have a few important numbers for you to keep in mind; 426 (791 – 365), 23, 8, and 1. Now those may not seem like much at first glance, but let me ask you to please join me in recognizing their significance to our customers. One year ago today, I wrote to you noting the words from a Steve Miller Band song about time ticking into the future. At the time, the future I was referring to was a long 791 days away. Here we are 365 days later and we now find ourselves only 426 days away from the projected completion date for the widening of N MJ Road. For those being impacted daily by the traffic, dust, and even a loss of sales, those 426 days are going to seem like forever. We can all do our part to help out by remembering these businesses in our shopping trips. The Chamber of Commerce is doing everything possible to be as supportive and encouraging as possible. Anything you can do to help will be much appreciated.
